Ippo MVP — by Legacy of Education, Inc.
Ippo MVP is an effort-based running game for Apple Watch and iPhone. Unlike traditional running apps that reward pace, Ippo rewards effort — so a beginner pushing hard earns the same rewards as an elite runner cruising. Start a run, encounter sprint challenges through haptic taps on your wrist, and collect pets as you progress through the ranks.
How does Ippo measure effort?
Ippo uses your heart rate data from Apple Watch to calculate how hard you're working relative to your own fitness level. Higher effort during sprint encounters earns more rewards — regardless of your actual speed.
What Apple Watch do I need?
Ippo works with any Apple Watch that supports watchOS 10 or later and has a heart rate sensor (Series 4 and newer).
Do I need to carry my iPhone while running?
No. Ippo runs directly on your Apple Watch. Your iPhone is used for viewing your pet collection, stats, and managing your account.
How do I delete my account?
Open the Ippo app on your iPhone, go to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.
Is my health data shared?
No. Your health data is never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
The app isn't tracking my heart rate — what do I do?
Make sure you've granted Ippo permission to access HealthKit data. Go to your iPhone's Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Ippo MVP and enable all permissions. Also ensure your Apple Watch is worn snugly on your wrist.
